Patagonia Packaging x Repack: Australia Pilot Program

Patagonia, Repack & Australia Post collaborate to create pilot scheme for reusable packaging in Australia aimed at reducing plastic waste from eCommerce.

Repack is leading the way in the fight against single-use packaging in the eCommerce industry and has now joined forces with the Patagonia packaging team. The European based company looks to bring together consumers and retailers by creating reusable packaging designed to be sent back after use.

As a global leader in fashion sustainability, it’s no surprise that Patagonia is always trying to reduce the environmental impact of its business. As its eCommerce business grows, so does the plastic waste, so creating reusable Patagonia packaging has become a priority.

It what therefore seems like the perfect collaboration, the two companies have come together to launch a pilot program with Australia Post to test the reusable Repack x Patagonia packaging solution in Australia.

All Patagonia orders will be shipped using the Repack reusable envelopes, with consumers rewarded with a 10% Patagonia discount code for returning their envelopes through the AusPost network. These envelopes will then be reused for future orders, reducing the amount of plastic waste as a result of eCommerce purchases.
